Has anyone put their central heating on yet?

Central heating is for females. Put a jumper on or go to the pub, or both. Heating goes on in November in my abode, on 18.5 degrees as any warmer feels dry and nasty.

Im pretty sure it goes no higher because you are a tight bastard ;)

Well I'm sat here in work with all the heaters on because it's bloody freezing.
Struggling to keep my eyes open now though . . . ZZzzz

Central heating is only allowed November - March in our house.

And even then its only as and when needed.

Plenty layers and a hot water bottle.

Or overtime in work - use their heating & lighting up instead of mine in the winter & get paid for it!

It's been on. I am still sat here in shorts, tee shirt and bare feet. My lad is out in the back garden dressed the same on a lounger texting or BBM or whatever he does but with trainers on! She keeps asking but at £600 a quarter she can sod off and get some more clothes on!!

Is that your gas bill? Would that be an average house? Fkin hell I'm sure it was nowhere near that when I lived there 7 yrs ago. It just used to be oap's that couldn't afford to heat their homes!

bob, as a girl you need to carry out some simple checks. Have you got any clothes on? Have you got any more clothes you could put on? are the windows and doors shut?
Keep going through these checks over and over again until the clocks change, and only then think of turning the heating on.

I come home from work yesterday and the scatty mare had the heating on and the living room window OPEN FFS!

I went feckin balistic and told her in no uncertain terms that it stays off until we are down to 10-12oc as an average.

I felt a bit tight after that so as a comprimise I went out and got her and the nipper a new onsie each!
