Yes I fixed just the gas with octopus just after it dropped in October. It was a very tiny increase to fix compared to the variable rate, but give me peace of mind with the increase coming in Jan

So an increase of 1.228p/kWh for electricity and 0.522p/kWh for gas.

No real change to SC, so I don’t think it’s worth fixing, but that’s assuming prices fall in the spring/summer.

That’s what I was thinking. For the pennies increase I’ll take the gamble and not fix, also once we get into April our gas will drop quicker than United in the league (hopefully they go down quicker)

Yeah, I guess if you’re a high gas usage household, it might be worth fixing as it‘s about a 7% hike per kWh, but for us, it adds about £80 to the total energy annual bill, so we‘re going to take the chance and not fix.
