Has club football killed international football ?

To answer the question though, no absolutely not. It will still be by far the most watched thing on TV this year. And it's one of the few things on TV that hasn't seen its number of viewers fall over the past 40 years, which is incredible when you look at what's happened to every other form of TV entertainment.
 
The Champions League and the major European club sides have destroyed international football.

The national teams are no longer the pinnacle of the sport.
