Was great to win the League Cup again but lets face it, no other top club takes it seriously.
The rest of the season has been pretty shit, with the squad we have, the poor standard of the league and the money we've spent, we really should be doing better

If we look at the season it has been a poor one I’d say, miles behind Loserpool in the title and a few derby defeats in the league. Last night summed it up for the cup competitions. Great to win the league cup but it’s been a very average season and when the big games have come we’ve bottled it every time.

I always try and think: would the players, the management, the owners be happy with this season? And the answer is no. I don't think there is much wrong, it's reminded me of Pep's first season in a lot of ways, but we needed another trophy for this to be considered good to great.

Koulibably and Laporte should be a solid defence for at least 3 seasons.

I reckon you are right. That and past European failures with City and other clubs. Somehow he lost the plot. This is on his record now and it will undermine his credibility. Perceptions are very important when it comes to management. This is the danger. It's potentially more than one bad defeat, it's potentially a signal that his era has come to an end.
