Has it disappointed you that were not expanding the stadium,

Re: Time to expand the ground

The Corporate seats in the West Stand are the only seats that are ever empty

All those saying we don't need a bigger stadium wont be saying that when they can't get a season ticket, or have to shell out £50 plus for a match-day ticket if they are lucky enough to be able to get hold of match-day tickets

Re: Time to expand the ground

Next season it will be much different.

Texas Tom will want to see the place that amazing soccerball team who won the last down play whilst chopping up smaller companies for a neat proffit, and that sjust before kick off.

GDM you sexy man, where has thou been.

Time to expand the ground

Everyone saying about the corporates, I agree that there's mega money to be made there.

Only problem is for the majority of matches this season there have been empty seats in the corporate area - to the extent that thick away fans have sung 'empty seats' and 'couldnt sell all your tickets' pointing towards them.

Any ideas on how to attract more of the prawn sandwich brigade?

I would be very interested to know how our corporate numbers and revenue compares to united's . There have been empty seats and boxes at both grounds this year but I'm guessing they have four or five times the capacity of us.

It's an area we can extract singificant extra revenue from now.

How come no one mentions that during any expansion it might be that we have to reduce the capacity for at least part of the season.

not yet... wait until we get to the later stages of the champions league.

the glory supporters aren't properly here yet.

Don't think we need glory supporters to get 50,000-55,000 regularly. We have a HUGE local following, it's all about keeping the pricing reasonable. Look at the parade, probably 200,000 people who cheered passionately for the players, knew all the songs.

good point but i'd only expand and then drop the ticket prices tbh.

still don't think it's a good idea until at least next summer.

Re: Time to expand the ground

I was wondering when the plans will be announced as it will take some time to get all the planning permission etc

especially if we have to reroute a road or two that was rumoured at on point

I like Texas Tom right up there with the likes of Mozambique Monies Man

Re: Time to expand the ground

we already have local fan base to expand to about 60,000 look at the parade, if we made season tickets around 350 and dropped matchday tickets by a a tenner we would fill it
