Kolarov was a bad buy and for that Roberto can be blamed, but Lescott was the worst player on the pitch (Again) as he has been for most of the season, them two on the same side leave a big f*ck off hole in the defence.

milner is a good player, in the right squad with the right manager we'd have a cracking player.

Dont think he is good enough technically in a team that trys to play possession football. He would probably look decent in the middle of Spurs midfield given that they get the ball forward quicker than us.

So why don't we have a plan B to accomodate this strategy for players like him?

They can when their favourites are playing, our quality is much higher than the opposition and they are in turmoil with a bad run of form.

I disagree, a team that has no motivation, who want the manager gone, don't score 5 goals in a game, no matter the opposition.

You'll have to watch the game again. I reckon Boyata conceded possession more than any other player on the pitch. And if you watch their second goal from their first attack, Boyata was woefully ill-positioned and although we got away with it, he had an opportunity to clear, yet tamely headed it to a Liverpool player at the edge of the box. Boyata was very poor last night, and I am a huge fan of him.

It was very obvious exactly why Milner reacted that way,anybody who suggested otherwise is again refusing to deal with reality.

And Milner will be a huge loss,it isn't apparent to most Blues as our clueless leader has single handedly stolen a season from his career in favour of inferior options.
How can a guy go from being young player of the year and one of the most sought after 'central' midfielders in the premiership to someone barely capable of making the bench....?

For Milners sake,as he is a top lad and a great professional,i wish we hadn't bought him as it's heartbreaking seeing a talent being wasted.Edin Dzeko - you're next pal.......

Dear Sven G Eriksson once said on Swedish television, that "the players win the games, and the manager looses them". A very gracious and humble stance I think.

The players we have can win matches 3-0, 4-0, 5-0, 6-0, and more than once a season, just because they are that good! Looking at our line-up compared to teams such as Bolton, West Brom, Wigan Blackpool and so on, it almost comical.... until you see the results that is, then it's more tragical.

Not too sure he has lost it totally, but without a doubt I think the players lack confidence in him.

Certainly his tactics were awful last night, how we can go to Anfield and not play De Jong and Silva was way beyond me. Liverpool may not be the force they once were, but you only have to look at who they have beaten, and beaten well there, to see we needed our best 11.

It's a massive setback, no doubt about that and the loss of Tevez just capped it off.

All he has done is put huge pressure on himself and the team and whilst I will be 100% behind the lads on Saturday you can't help but fear the worse. if were going to play Dzeko then bloody welll use the right tactics and cross the ball.

A bad loss on Saturday and he will not just lose the dressing room but the fans as well...defeats you can take, but abject surrender....I think not.
