Fair enough IMO. Family ALWAYS comes first.

I guess Robinho is very close to his family, with his mother(i think) being held hostage a few years ago etc.

I've not gone to work 2day because my 4 year old son is poorly.fuck work.family comes first as you say

Hang on, you lot saying its all rosy again.

This sounds like unauthorised leave to me.

He said he "made the club aware", not "he was allowed".

You can't dictate to your employers when you come in.

The plot thickens here for me.

Re: I'm happy at City - Robinho

It sounds to me like he's taken unauthorised leave and buggered off home without the club's permission.

Note the wording...very telling.

He'll get disciplined for this.

If,as its been suggested there has been a death in the family then he is within his rights to go on compassionate grounds

...ok I am puzzled. If Robby is off on a sanctioned break to Brazil and never went to Tenerife why did Cook say:

"I do know Robinho is not at the training centre in Tenerife," executive chairman Garry Cook said Tuesday. "If he has left the training ground it is a breach of club discipline. I am waiting for a full debrief."

Boy this is a weird day

That makes me feel 1000 times better. i can handle no Kaka but Love Robbie and want him to love us. I know that is sad but would pay just to watch him
I believe he has played injured for 'the cause' and he wants us to succeed because he knows how the club and fans feel about him

the wording of his statement is interesting particularly the:
'Robinho was cheering for Kaka and hopes that the club will soon find a replacement as high level as Kaka is'
does that mean he was cheering for him to come to city or for sticking to his beliefs and staying at milan??!

Robinho`s website

He has explained what happened
on his website.
