Like Neville and others, Lineker uses his media profile to air political views. I've no problem with that. He works for a national broadcaster though and so there is a difference. Jump to itv or go back to BT and no problem for me. But you don't get two be in BBC as it is and use it to sell your own message.

Personally I wouldn't employ anyone who refused to work on the football today if they were contracted to. Give opportunity to others and let them find their feet. Lineker signed a 5 year deal with the BBC under which he was bound to maintain political impartiality and having snubbed his nose at that on a number of occasions, the arrogant twat’s latest indiscretion finally was the straw that broke the camels back.
