The part I highly is “in addition”. Blame yourself for your lack of comprehension for not being able to work out it specifically covers people such as himself. As the face of BBC flagship’s programme, there are few more high profile BBC personalities.
I’ve already said I agree with his comments. If he wishes to continue making them then he should resign if he doesn’t like his paymasters terms.
And I’ve already posted the response from people that have had the position of upholding that governance that agree it’s a big stretch by the bbc to take that view with this, should they all be blamed for their lack of comprehension too? How about the bbc themselves and their own lack of comprehension at times given they’ve not applied that consistently even to Lineker himself let alone others?
On your last point, I agree. I’d also expect the bbc to apply the same principles to apply across the board too.
