And I’ve already posted the response from people that have had the position of upholding that governance that agree it’s a big stretch by the bbc to take that view with this, should they all be blamed for their lack of comprehension too? How about the bbc themselves and their own lack of comprehension at times given they’ve not applied that consistently even to Lineker himself let alone others?

On your last point, I agree. I’d also expect the bbc to apply the same principles to apply across the board too.

Genuine question, who have the left cancelled?
 
Bloke references the language of 1930s Germany that somehow then leads to actions that wouldn’t be out of place in 1930s Germany. People now asking themselves if the government have put their own men in and are now controlling the public service broadcaster, much like happened in the early 30’s. Of course, had they stayed quiet, it’d all have been over and done with 3 days ago.

Instead, and it’s hilarious to see, the Tory’s falling victims to the Streisand Effect to such an extent, they’ll become the go to example when it’s being explained and discussed….
 
I think like others have said, the whole format is tired and dumbed down. I definitely want to hear analysis but it needs to be from the right people.
Why BBC went down the populist route I will never understand. Just get clever, articulate pundits with no agenda. I'd be happy to hear a couple of managers/coaches
 
I feel as if I’m in the middle of a Hieronymus Bosch painting… which as everyone knows is the definition of insanity!! The whole world is driving me that way. I’m afraid for the younger generations.
For the first time since I became sick I am glad that I’m old and won’t be around to see what they are making of this world.

The 20 Rothmans is actually a homage (nice posh word) to Monty Python. I can't even remember the sketch, it was something about a Prince refusing to fighting a dragon as a challenge and the King in despair says 'oh just go into town and get me 20 Rothmans.'
