BBC may now be no longer useful for news.I'm sure there must have been at least one BBC employee to tweet something in favour of government policy in the past. Why weren't these people removed from their positions within days. I think we know why. Impartiality is only a facade where the BBC and the government is concerned.
I'm suggesting it's easy to have a go from a lofty perch... if you wanna change things, you can take another (maybe less lucrative route) and actually do something positive. True.Sadly by having taken control of the BBC the way they have, the government is in a win win situation. Either they get to convert the BBC into a compliant client broadcaster or they get to kill it off as it's traditional defenders become increasingly alienated from it.
