Nice to see the analytical experts posting after Roach said what he said!
Me? I was prepared to see what Hatton had learned under Mayweather Snr. and was surprised that he came out so open and disrespectful to Pac Man's speed.
Having said that I thought that if he'd have got through the 2nd round(and he was almost there), I thought he would impose himself better and changed up the plan. Looking at his style, as a rule from Graham to Mayweather, it HAD changed and he was less open than before, in comparison.
As per, though, he just thought one fight would be enough to challenge for a title and I've always thought he needed to hone the teachings over a couple of fights.
Oh well, at least you're our most famous City fan, Ricardo.

There's no substitute for basic skills and one of them is 'protect your chin at all times'. What can you say, thought? Hatton is multi multi millionaire.

My view for what it is worth Ricky fought the wrong fight. Look at Pacmans KO record it is top he hits hard. For Ricky not to keep a high gaurd up against Manny is stupid he never listened to the corner. I have to say it is one of Hattons worst fight ever but he will come back from it. So far he has got beaten by 2 of best fighters in the world over the last couple of years. There is no shame in that I hope he fights again and I think there could be fights closer to home for Ricky to look forward to if he wants it. The money he could make out of Witter and if Khan wins the world title he can easily beat those 2 bums but it is weather he wants to continue on.

For me it's that simple, fair play to Ricky for not dodging these fights but he was just not quite at that level. Pacman Vs Mayweather will be some fight!

I think he will not fight on if he isn't seen as the best in his class.
It all depends on where Pac decides to box. If he sticks at Jnr Welter I can not see Hatton getiing his ring magazine championship back. However I think Pac will continue to move up and down the weights to fight the most commercial fighters, as he is a freak and can get away with it.
