This is not a 'Hughes Humbled' thread or anything of the like. Not like some screaming for the 'Hughes Out' brigade to show themselves.

This is about the demeanour of the team based on the 1st half. Hughes body language is passive, but his face is clouded. The team look happier and yes WITH Elano in the team, there looks to be a better tempo to it. Having Big Phil in there also proves that Hughes has had to bite the bullet about his selections and moving us forward. Has Hughes had a word in his shell-like about his management style?

Anyway, the point is, we look unified again and not just in terms of the play.

Does anyone agree?

Were not one for criticizing teams for being so open.

We have been run riot for our style

hull are very poor

So City are not playing well FFS some City fans can't even give credit where credit is due

You wouldn't believe it would you. Hull were poor and I think there bubble has well and truly burst, but we ran them riot. It could have been 6 or 7 in the first half. WBA played poor last weekend as have numerous other sides we haven't beaten this season, so I expect the reason we won was because we played well, no?

Whatever happened, thank the lord it did.

Maybe, just maybe, players and manager alike are realizing that every one of them is ultimately replaceable. We're a pretty attractive club to be at, regardless of our current league position, so rather than bickering, they should just get on with doing what they are paid to do, to the best of their abilities...
