Have there ever been any good Scouse managers?

Can’t believe nobody has said about Howard Kendall. Born in Southport which is in the borough of Sefton on Merseyside. Great great manager and we’d have won something in my opinion if he’d stayed long enough.

I’m not saying this is wrong, cos I know most people hold this view - I probably do myself (maybe influenced by what came after).

It has to be factored in that post City, he was often absolutely steaming, whilst holding down manager jobs without reaching the heights he did originally at Everton.
