City seem to be able to win the League Cup in even years: 2014, 2016, 2018, (Not to mention 1970 and 1976).

Also League Championships: 1968, 2012, 2014, 2018 (Let’s forget about 1937)

Similarly with the Community Shield/Charity Shield: 1968, 1972, 2012, 2018 (don’t mention 1937)

All City’s European Titles have come in even years: 1970.

The FA Cup used to come in even years: 1904, 1934, 1956 (Until 1969 and 2011). Avoiding Wigan would have added a few more!

Until City crack the odd-year bogey, no Cup will be retained!

Yep, nailed on to win the “losing against Wigan” cup.

We should have won that in 2014 after losing to Wigan in the FA Cup two seasons in a row. We were disqualified for beating them 5-0 in the League Cup between the two matches.
