Yes … i don’t think of it as a bet, more of an insurance premium.
Lots of people don’t want to die or have their home burn down, or crash a their car or have to take their pet to the vets … so they take out insurance. All of the above events pale into insignificance when it comes to the pain I feel when City disappoint - so I bet against it. I sincerely hope it does not happen, but if the bet does pay then it will help me fund a trip to oblivion. As the song goes “ spent all my money on drugs and City” ;-)
Plus the sceptic in me thinks the more money the betting companies make on City winning the more likely it is to happen . Football fixed? It might just be!

I hope you mean you put it on "Real to qualify"? you would be a little pissed if they won in extra time or pens!I've got £150 on Real to win on Wednesday night

Remembered one this morning. City half time winning/rags win full time was put on for the game at ours when we were 2 up at half time and winning the league..
