Yep. Or should I say Oui.The last rabbit I bought was not so long ago from a butcher in Todmorden, but frozen. In Ewing Towers rabbit goes into the same category as black pudding - I'm the only one who eats it! Yer can get rabbit in most supermarkets in France, or could!
or a ferretMy local polish supermarket sells it, used to be commonplace in traditional butchers but majority of them now source from Macwilliams butcher which means they get it in frozen.
I love it in curries and in a tomatoe based stew with loads of paprika and fresh herbs. They are in abundance round here, as are deer, it's very tempting to get a gun or crossbow

Regular occurrence as a nipper, wouldn’t eat it now mind.Been thinking that I used to like rabbit pie as a kid but you don't see them for sale in butchers anymore.
