Have you ever eaten rabbit?

Apparently, fresh rabbit is seasonal because a rabbit full of baby bunnies is not an attractive prospect.
In the 80's, you could get frozen, filleted, Chinese rabbit which was convenient if not as flavoursome as fresh. It was banned though, because of disease.
I think you can still get it from Frost's in Chorlton.
Do it with smokey bacon, white wine, onions, mushrooms and herbs. Beautiful!
Is this known as Rabbit Covid?
 
Rabbit was the traditional meat in paella. I like rabbit and all those oddities that some people won't touch: snails, frog's legs, rook, pigeon breast, jellied eels, cod cheek, pigs trotters. Not eaten insects yet, but I will.
Anyone had bush meat?
Depends what you mean by "bush meat"
