Have you ever eaten rabbit?

Brilliant lean meat, why it fell out if favour I have no idea . Butchers always had them but I haven't seen it for ages, as someone else said, the French and Spanish always have it.
That is NOT a selling point. I wonder if they do a Rabbit, Frog, Snail, Horse & Robin mixed stew?

As well as frogs, small birds and snails....
I’ve tried frogs legs a few times too.
Usually just tasted of garlic and not enough meat on them to bother with really.
Chicken wings are tastier.

Not mad about snails. Tried them a few times. Never took to them.

Lovely, but avoid the tasteless flabby farmed rubbish. Essentially if it doesnt come with a warning about lead shot avoid. I usually do rabbit quartered in a simple stew and mop up with crusty bread, but due to lack of stock have roasted one a couple of times stuffed with paxo like a chicken and wrapped in foil to stop it drying. Really good like that, and meat pulls cleanly away for those of you who dont like bones.
