Pasta with rabbit? I have eat a lot of rabbit but usually a stew with potatoes.

Jugged hare used to be quite popular. haven't seen it on a menu in yonks.
Don't see many hares about nowadays in the Shire either. There were loads about last time I fished the Borders.

Often and it’s delicious. Wonderful Spanish, French, Italian, and Greek dishes. Never fully understood why it so fell out of favour in British cuisine.

I made a lovely stew in January,
a couple of big rabbits cut in quarters, carrots, shallots, turnips, swede, celery and small potatoes.
The wife wouldn’t eat it, she said there’s a hare in it!

Yes, skinned one as well

So did i. Sneaked onto the moors last year in 1st lockdown. Shot one, skinned and butchered. Then i stir-fried in a satay sauce with rice. Was a bit tough but still tasty.

Probably, though pictures of cows suffering from CJD didn’t dampen the appetite for beef for long.

Its a staple of Canarian cuisine, always have it at least a couple of times in the local tapas gaffs on any visit to Tenerife

Had it st Jamie Oliver's restaurant over a decade a go. From what I remember is was similar to chicken in terms of texture , don't remember it being at all bad either.
