Have you ever/ or know of someone that's took drugs in work?

Stupidly I was a PT manager of a store in trafford centre, so when we finished the late shift on a friday and was starting the early on the saturday we would get wasted in the Trafford Centre and then sleep it off in the store.

shortest commute ever!

On these morning shifts there was always a danger 2/3 hrs in for morning glory to show up......we would occasionally pop a viagra into someones drink to help things along!
 
I know of a brewery delivery driver who has a pint at each pub he delivers to every day. I've seen the same guy drink what must have been in excess of 20 pints of guiness during an afternoon session in a pub that I worked in and then jump in his car and drive home seemingly sober as a nun. Unbelievable capacity.

That was common years ago before drinking and driving became an offence. I know because my dad told me he used to do it when he worked as a dray man for Sam Smiths.
 
Drinking and work were very common at one point in time, since it's demise the accident rates have fallen significantly! When I was a young apprentice no one thought anything about having a few pints a dinner time and then putting in an afternoons work on a building site, at the time it was not uncommon for the building industry to lose two or three men a week through accidents, those were the days

My first job when I was 16 was a trainee upholsterer. We only had a 30 minute dinner which was enough to squeeze in two pints in the pub next door.
There was only about 15 of us on the shop floor and only a couple of the lads didn't go for a pint.
 
I know of a few folk been off their tits at work....

but the one i want to post i have no evidence for it...

My son was ill when he was young and needed open heart op... Was over at alder hey in liverpool...

Im not saying the surgeon as only met him a few times... But the docs on the wards... the young ones majority of them from other countries... They would do the morning calls, then the afternoon calls then the night calls.. Then if some kids machine would beep in the night and it was serious they would be called.. then back in the morning....

I mean they must have had something to keep them awake...

I aint having ago by the way as they was excellent and got me and the mrs through a hard time and saved his life.....

I used to be stoned most nights when I worked part-time in a hotel as did most of the staff.

Once spent a day at home watching day time tele after taking a couple of E 's which was a weird experience.

I was on the bus on the way to the office and it stopped at Queens Road for the bus inspector to get on. But with them were the police and a sniffer dog. I shit myself and took the E's which were in my wallet for safe keeping. Thought best not to go in after that.
 
There's a old bird in my office pissed now. She is most Friday's, I usually have 2 or 3 on a friday dinner and may do a bit less work but she is proper drunk and no one does anything because she has been here years.
