Have you, or anybody you know, got the virus yet?

Hope everyone can stay safe, thoughts with those who have it or suspect they do. Read a 'diary' of a guy who got it and, if anything, at least he showed that the worst of it can break quite quickly after the coughing fits and fever. Here's the link in case anyone is interested

The cough was so bad, i was coughing uncontrollably and puking all over the bed at the same time,not my finest hour!

Every year, time and season always different, I develop a persistent cough. Dry, thickly and non fucking stop. Until I vomit and fetch, stomach muscles all get pulled. Codeine linctus seems to suppress the cough brilliantly but of course you cant get it over the counter anymore cos of the codeine content. The Care label is the one to get if you can. But, I am no way a medic so it could well have no effect on this virus strain. But I know what that is like it's horrible.

Well, 35yrs of smoking probably hasn't helped. Stopped now, best thing I've done for a long time. Started a couch to 5k today, legs are all tight, back and shoulders aching. Only ran for 8 x 60sec bursts! I say run but really it was shuffling. Had my City top on of course, still flying the flag in the face of the virus.

one of my lads has a persistant cough we are keeping him off school this week

none of us have had a high temp going on

we defo have something going on, hopefully it will all pass in the next few days

The trouble is what do you do in that scenario?

I tend to cough a lot after a proper nights boozing, which is probably a worry in itself and I tend to be quite a coughing type of guy. I always cough when I’m nervous and usually when I laugh. I don’t smoke anymore and have been like this for several years.

I have been to the doctors last year and I mentioned it and I’m fine.

The only thing I can go off is a fever but it is possible to get it without one, so I can’t know if I’ve got it for sure.

The only thing I can do is wait to see if it ever gets worse and if so I’ll isolate.
