I think the club might see that a lot of people are near to breaking point now. I expect that a lot of people who were platinum last year and in all cup schemes will drop to gold and drop 1 or a couple of cup schemes, like myself. I'm no expert so could well be wrong but from speaking to my mates and others, it seems to be the jist that I'm getting

More or less every home game, there are thousands of fans buying up returned away tickets at £50 a ticket. The tickets in the corners at home to Norwich were £56. That's Arsenal prices. Top quality football is very very popular and has universal appeal.
I'm not so convinced. The percentage increase is high on last season and the thread is full of people admitting they're finding it more difficult to find the money. New applicants are going to need £600 for a half decent seat now.

I got a postcard reminder this morning I could have sworn it said that after the 3rd all season card prices for new purchases will be 10% higher than the price we are paying now.

Renewed this morning. Stayed platinum (viagogo will come in handy next year for me personally), but dropped down to just the CL Cup Scheme...

I think that too. I travel up from London and 3 of our regular party didn't renew after we won the league and many more are picking and choosing their matches. I anticipate less midweek trips myself unless they're top drawer because the cost is getting too much. I'm on Gold already and sit in 216 over 204 for the cheaper deal.

Have been mulling it over for a few months prior to the new season ticket prices coming out. We renewed last year, two adults and a junior in the East stand at the expense of a family holiday, my eldest daughter is starting university in September so really didn't know what to do.
Just had a fuck it moment though and renewed on line at a cost of just under £1400. I love my club, the journey we've been on and what we've become, no pockets in shrouds and all that so i'm glad i've done it.
If i'm honest I have the same debate every year but always renew. Football and City is a way of life. Who needs a two week holiday when you can watch City all season!!!!!!! CTID

Renewed today and with the DD four payments (July Sept Nov Feb) taking the pressure off a bit did the car park too.
