He may be mad but he's one of us

So long as he plays in a blue shirt i'll not say a bad word about him...he's a 20 year old kid in a foreign country trying to live up to all the hype and the price tag....lets cut him some slack ffs...

Again, I pose the same question to you. What if he does something similar in the cup semi final against Utd. Gets targetted, wound up and snaps. It's a fair hypothetical question to pose.

So you will be on here again the Sunday morning, saying 'lets cut him some slack ffs!'....?

Well I posed the hypothetical argument last Tuesday, and then two days later, he went and got sent off in a knock out game in the first half. So I apologise for being a little concerned. I would love him to score the winner against Utd. Genuinely. I would love him to be a success. Genuinely. But I do think the criticism of him is fair.

He is a nutter, but he is our nutter and fits in well!
Joking aside I'm not sure even the most patient of Blues has much more patience for him, so he really has to knuckle down now.
That's fair enough?

Scholes? Every game it's a fair bet he'll fly in with some daft challenge

Random i know but...

Got into the ground earlier than usual on thurs and watched the warm up, balo had a shot nearly took two lads heads off who were messing with the net, beat the goaly, straight in top corner and ran off celebarting with his arms out. first time ever ive seen him celebrate.
I cant decide wether he is unhappy or if the macho stuff is just an act but it was really refreshing to see him drop his guard for that moment.
I want him to come good, i want him to calm down and enjoy playing for city. With attitude the guy has got if he just toned it down a little and embraced the fans he would be a fan favourite. Hes got undoubted talent, but will he waste it....i hope not.

I will be on here saying the same yes....his behaviour on the field has improved since he started for us but admittedly still has a way to go...but i'm not going to lambast the lad, we and mancini knew what he was like when we bought him.....

Maybe we should start defending our players?

I'm hoping this is where the realisation finally drops with him. The guy has talent - bundles of the stuff.

Incidentally, has anyone else noticed the name of the barmpot journo that wrote the piece....

It seems to be the in vogue thing right now to slag Balotelli off. He's a brilliant player and if De Jong had done that to someone (again I may add) then this board would be filled with comments of 'he's a beast'. But because it's Mario Balotelli one moment of stupidity and he's a twat who hates this country.

Also what's with all the people who seem to be throwing personal insults about? Calling him a twat and a **** when you don't know him is just stupidity.

So what if he supports Milan as well. I'm pretty sure that most of our players don't actually support the club. If Silva could choose I bet he'd rather still be playing for Valencia.
