There is a degree of short-term thinking at Easter Road that beggars belief. At the same time, the same is not uncommon at Tynecastle. Indeed, Hearts fans would probably hound Neilson out if they were languishing in the bottom six come next December and had lost in derbies.

Who is next through the revolving door?

I do not think though that Hearts or any other club so called smaller club up here would have sacked their manager just before a cup final. Ross got them to a final and was sacked.
There was calls for Robbie to get sacked from quite a lot of Hearts fans throughout the last two seasons.
Luckily Ann Budge is made of sterner stuff than the American across the road.

Tottenham did the same in England in a vain hope of getting a bounce against us and that flopped miserably, too.

Next season will be a stiffer test for Hearts, much like 2016-17, so I hope that patience and support for him last.

Probably a mixture ....got a few players coming back from injury
So tomorrow and weekend will be geared towards them I think

I have to say I don’t think it’s likely, but it’s a final and you can only go for it. You never know. A big gap to bridge, but speaking from bitter experience, we have been handed our arse on numerous occasions by teams we should have beaten. I will have my maroon T-shirt on.:)

I would say Rangers are only the slightest of favourites.

Rangers are massive favourites. The gulf is there to see, but it’s a one off and we both have been fucked by teams who on paper shouldn’t have a look in. Can’t see anything other than a Rangers win.
