I was never in favour of going it alone until ten years ago when I just realised it’s Tories all the way if we don’t. Too much of England buy their shit. And everyone is entitled to vote how they see it. That’s why I want Indy, we haven’t voted the Tories in since 1955. I have two grandweans now, another on the way, I want a better life for them and us. And I believe in us.

Financially it will be very difficult. No pension pot and a huge national deficit, propped up every year by billions from Westminster. Less than 50% of Scots pay a meaningful amount of tax and it's getting worse each year with high earners moving to lower-taxed regions of the UK and Europe. Add in the SNP's catastrophic record of failure in everything they touch and it doesn't fill me with confidence.

Scotland under independence will be a basket case of a country. Everyone with any common sense will be heading to Cumbria and Northumberland and leaving the parasites, wasters and Neds to their own pisspot Brigadoon.
Scottish Nationalists, along with Celtic supporters are to be avoided like the plague.

Very few in my experience, I do find the Celtc mantra of Unite Ireland and Seperate the UK a bit strange.
More of a deep rooted sectarian motivated get it up the Brits than any well thought out financially viable politically rational argument

What do you mean united Urekand and separate Scotland? You’ve been in too nay orange halls. Many catholics vote labour and no. And unless you believe in Colonialism Ireland should be united if people agree. The south wouldn’t want it. Inheriting all those Loyalists? Fuck that.

They want independence for totally different reasons than the Nats. And if it should ever come to fruition, the Brigadoon Bravehearts will not know what’s about to sledgehammer them from those they have foolishly jumped into bed with.

Actually the one thing I’ve noticed about living in Edinburgh for the past 13 years now is the total lack of religion among both Hibs and Hearts fans. Been a bit of an eye opener. What football should be all about.
