Helicopter crash in London

I'm working on a building just over the way on South Lambeth Road the other side of Vauxhall station, thank fuck I'm not on site this week. My sister in law lives not far and says its chaos, Police everywhere.

Awful! Hope those injured recover quickly.. Someone makes an interesting point about how safe the crane now is due to half of it laying in the road...

It's a terrible accident, but five live just had a woman describe it 'Like a mini 9/11'. Where do they find these people?

Not funny.

No but what would have been your first thoughts if you were on your way to work close by?

Can't see the pilot or the occupants of the cars standing much chance sadly.
Seeing it as a commuter if you're stuck in traffic and you see that plume of smoke, yes it will be the natural thing to think in these sad times. I don't think Horshamblue was referring to that though, although I may be wrong.
Irony actually.

Much more likely to die in a freak accident than be killed by any of those natives we're over in Afghanistan trying to kill, and their family, friends, neighbours and, well, just anyone who gets in the way of a drone's missile.
