We need volunteers for bucket collection at the HOME match against Wolves on 29th October...

We need as many volunteers as we can get for this collection, so please spare an hour before the game, and if you can stay on after the match for another hour that would be even better.

EVERY PENNY DONATED WILL GO TO ROZZI AND WIFE HIS LOVELY CHILDREN JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS

either PM me or contact one of Bluewatch Mods

thanks to everyone who has helped in anyway so far

-- Sun Oct 23, 2011 8:54 am --

Update on Rozzie appeal

The figures are in and we're pleased to announce the combined bucket collections have raised just over £1,200 for the appeal.

Thank you to everyone who has helped out with the collections and especially to all those who have kindly donated.

The grand total is now £2,176.

It makes us all proud to be blue and we feel this money will go a long way in helping Rozzi and his family.

A small trust fund has been setup to enable us to properly pass on your donations at various stages along the way.

We refuse to stop things there though so we have pledged to continue with the fundraising until we reach our target of £5,000. Ok this isn't a life changing amount but we're sure you would all agree it will hopefully make things a little easier for him over the next few months and whilst he recovers from the big C.

To achieve this we still need your kind donations. These can be sent through paypal to:
Email address: rozzi.appeal@bluewatchmcfc.co.uk

We also plan to conduct our final bucket collection at the Wolves game next Saturday and thanks to Rammy for allowing us to collect at his stripper doo. If you can help out on Saturday for an hour we are meeting at Eastland Bar this Tuesday at 7.30pm in the Governors Lounge to go over the details. If you can't make this date but you would still like to help out then you can simply meet up with one of the bluewatch team from 1pm where the old B of the Bang Spike once stood (Alan Turning Way). Collect a bucket and T shirt and we're pair you up with someone and let you know where abouts around the stadium we would like you to collect from.

If you are unable to help with the collection then please make a donation when you are passing. This is the last bucket collection we are doing, please help make it count.

Other fundraising events we have in the pipeline are 2 more football matches and an all dayer footy tournament at Platt Lane. All blues are more than welcome to get involved in these, details will be announced shortly. Sue & Nikki are very kindly donating the proceeds of their infamous xmas party being held at MCFC 3rd December (see forum for details) and one big final event is being organised by the bluewatch team is to take place early in the new year. Watch this space for further details!

We aim to complete raising for the charity by the 3rd February next year, again please donate to the appeal and thank you for your support.

Great,

So pleased to see so much go to Rozzi. I didn't manage to get the the Villa game because of the roadworks but I'll put in my money at the Wolves game :)

How did his op go by the way guys??

Cheers mate, he had to go back in for tests on friday as they thought he might have infection, I spoke to him before and after game on Sunday and seemed in good spirits.

A few of the Bluewatch lads had visited him in morning before game

Well that's always reassuring to hear,

Hopefully he'll be out soon.
