Help needed to block FC UTD!

step back a minute folks -fc are trying to build in Moston because Etihad City deemed ten acres too close-they were determined the local residents should not benefit from their redevelopment and a football ground with the word United in the name. FC had promised to meet the financial shortfall -but were told we were not welcome at TAL -Mr cook with Mr Lees made sure our hard work and significant expense was for nothing.

So now we are at Moston -and surprise surprise City fans don't want us there-time will tell how the planning process goes-but FC are now firmly established and can bring significant benefits to the community in which we finally set up home-wherever that may be.

So chill-you should all settle for the yenom pouring into your coffers and enjoy the ride.

Being lectured by a rag about money pouring into our coffers. Priceless.
You people really don't understand the words 'irony' or 'hypocrisy', do you?
And you may have had your eyes closed, your fingers jammed into your ears and been chanting 'la la la la' for the last 48 hours or so, but I think you'll find our plans to benefit the community in East Manchester piss all over whatever you envisaged for Ten Acres Lane. You are not even the pus in a pimple on our arse in comparison.
Looking at the wider picture, the £20m the council will make on the deal will protect jobs and front line services for all Mancunians.
It is not just City fans who don't want you in Moston. People who've never been to a game in their lives (and that probably includes many bar stool rag warriors) don't want you their either. Despite your arrogant assumption, it is not true that 'now we are in Moston'. Not by a long shot, sunshine.
As for calling us 'Etihad City'? I yawn and scratch my balls. Does that mean one of the two (count em) teams you hypocritically support are now to be known as Aon United? Or Vodafone? Or Sharp? Of course not, so stop being a silly, childish little rag and run along.
This is a City forum so if you're going to come on to try and WUM and insult our club, then you're not going to last very much longer.

But we don't want you cunts anywhere near us.

So no, we won't just leave it.

If these liars were going to move to Urmston I would be up in arms about it as well.

Fuck me, dont M.C.C. have enough problems without getting into this with a bunch of mid-life crisis blokes? Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy them all a motor bike or something?

You probably have proof of this libellous statement so i expect you to get it published in the ever so helpful MEN, maybe Cooke and Lease will be spending time inside for undue influence and misuse of public funds or at the very least you can sue for your money back.

Or then again, you may just be a gullible rag numpty that swallows every bullshit myth that your tradition
necessitates.
United, never letting the truth get in the way of self serving lies. You'll never change.

Oh, by the way "gullible" does not appear in the English dictionary so don't try looking it up.

Yes I am a City fan - but you are wrong to say ''surprise surprise City fans don't want us'' - in fact, that is just too nice and cosy (and convenient) for FCUM fans to throw back ratherthan see the real issues at heart here.
Many local residents are completely against this proposal and you can dismiss them all as simply being City fans at your peril.
I have NO issue with FC United being in Moston (or anywhere in the area) as long as it is not on green land - especially one that was given to the people of Moston / Manchester as a gift and has a covenant on it. End of.
FCUM in Moston? - yes
FCUM in Moston on Ronald Johnson Playing Fields? No.

It is also quite patronising to state that whatever area FCUM settle in, you will bring ''significant benefits'' to that community..... as if all communities are lying dormant waiting for FCUM to ''rescue'' them from financial / social oblivion. It is for the community that FCUM move into to decide what is good for them, rather than FCUM stating that to the community in advance. Please understand that.

From what I understand, Moston Juniors have been looking for alternative venues for their 11 a side teams (who currently use the pitches) to play on. They have requested Boggart Hole Clough or Our Lady's Sport College in Blackley and have asked MCC to 'throw their weight in' - as these facilities are currently being used by other Junior Teams.

Therefore it appears that this is paving the way for FCUM to start building.

This has caused a real stink within the club forcing a couple of senior members of management within the club to resign....

MES - What's the latest from a residents stand point, Joanne's son plays for my Under 8's team???

From my point of view, this appears sewn up (between the corrupt MCC and FCUM) and is only a matter of time before this gets approval.

Utter bollocks.

I'd wager Gary Cook, Khaldoun, Etihad, ADUG and anyone else from Manchester City had no clue FC United even existed, yet alone gave a shit about where your miniscule 5,000 seat stadium was going to be located. Delusions of gradeur or what? The plans for the Etihad Campus make the FC United Stadium seem like a broken down, glass strewn shale tennis court when compared to Wimbledon. The fact that you think a Premiership side, in the Champion's League, with a squad value of several hundred million, would care one iota about a mediocre, half arsed, club from the Northern Premier League Premier Division, a division filled with such footballing giants as Ashton United, Chasetown, Mickleover Sports, Rushall Olympic and Stocksbridge Park Steels, is laughable.

Hilarious. Why would City fans care about something going on in Moston when we are all from Stockport? Doh.

Hopefully it will go tits up for them and they fold. Why they cry, "because we have United in our name?" Well, partly, yes because I want anything that evolves from the spunk covered mattress that is Trafford United to fail. Other than that, I think Longsight summed it up haha!
