Hen pecked husbands

Men are just hard work, I work with a lot of them and they are seriously hard work. I accept their quirks but they are bloody hard work. They are the worst for trying to flatter you with compliments to get you to do THEIR job for them lol it drains my soul on a day to day basis

If you earn 10-20 times her salary then Hen Pecking is something you will not have to worry about.

Well, that sounds like a healthy relationship!

"Her indoors" has just informed me that she is off to feed the neighbours Cats because they are off on holiday and she promised.

I just don't know why she told me because it's obvious i'm not interested in the slightest.

She however hasn't left a note or list of things she wishes me to get on with.

Not a personal experience just the two mates I know who are much more wealthy than their partners never seem to have any issues (strange that.) And I would also say that out of all my mates and their partners those two couples are the ones who seem the happiest and IMO are most likely to stay together.

It's not clear to me. Are you saying men are hard work?

That's pure poetry. Tremendous post.

I might show my wife this thread.

Would packing her bags for her and leaving them by the door be a strong enough hint?

...you won't have packed them right...

men have no idea how to pack! one pair of boxers and a toothbrush is not enough for a weeks holiday!

Clearly 1 pair for a week doesnt pass the inside out, back to front rule so any self respecting male would pack two (or get a committment from the Mrs to wash them 4 days in).

Mine has absolutely no grasp of the concept of logic, and I doubt if she even knows the meaning of the word.

We are on holiday. Three days into the holiday she confronts me demanding the reason I locked the wrong lock on the door, as it took her ages to find the right key (four keys, two locks = eight possibilities). I asked why she didn't use the key I had left sticking out. She said we always use the other lock. I responded that the other lock had the blind pulled down over it, so it was logical to use the bottom lock. For good measure, I pointed out that it was only the second day of our holiday, so it was inaccurate to suggest there was already an established routine for night time door locking. She responded that I hadn't unlocked the door when we first arrived. Well naturally, as I was parking the car as she was unlocking the door.

On and on it went. Utterly pointless argument over something that 100% of men would not have even thought had been a problem. You reach the point where you just accept the illogical arguments because the alternative is futile, and life is just too short.
