I was walking like an extra from ‘Planet of the Apes’ for a few days after the op, but was back road running in 17 days and able to run a 10k race reasonably well a month later.
I got my hernia in March and operated on last Friday. The NHS sent me to The Spire Hospital in Didsbury.I've got an inguinal hernia as well. I'm probably looking at another 8 months of waiting for the surgery, fun times!
Hopefully you fully recover in no time!I got my hernia in March and operated on last Friday. The NHS sent me to The Spire Hospital in Didsbury.
I kept popping mine back in for about 18mths. Kept me amused for hours somedaysHad one for over 20yrs, it's got quite big now so I really should get it sorted.
Thing is it's never really bothered me and isn't painful which is why I haven't bothered getting it done. It also pushes back in quite easily when I lie down.
