One f#cking night just to show some kind of respect for an incredible talent and nothing but miserable, parochial reasons why not.
People aren't asking for a statue - just a song at some point.
Is a song being played being desperate? Why can't you show your respect elsewhere? Go down to Brixton if you're that desperate to show your respect to him. It's City vs Everton there's zero links to Bowie andd i don't want to see the teams come out to one of his songs instead of bluemoon. It also then leads to the question, if we do it for him, do we do it for every single musician/celebrity that dies from here on? It's like the clapping at a certain minute every week for somebody that has recently died. It's every week nowadays.
one 3 minute song is hardly a tribute showCould understand if he was a Mancunian or a City fan but there's absolutely no link to City whatsoever. I'm going to a football match tonight, not a Bowie tribute show. Bluemoon as usual.
Planet Earth is blue and there's nothing you can do.(except boo) ;-)Why can't you show your respect elsewhere? Go down to Brixton if you're that desperate to show your respect to him.
