Heroes - Bowie tribute @ Everton game

They don't have to - just would be a nice touch - they don't even need to announce anything - just play a track as they come out, that's all; it's not scouse meltdown.
Yes - lots of great and talented people like Lemmy die. In turns of fame, prolificacy, inspiration and improtance culturally, he was on another level altogether, as was eveident on Monday.
The Club are of course under no obligation to do anything, just would be a nice touch and find it hard to believe people would begrudge it.

Again though why as they come out? I think regardless City would have a few Bowie tunes going pre match/half time which is what it should be restricted to

I'm all in favour of a few Bowie tracks being played tonight, before the game and at half time. It would be apt in the circumstances.

City running out to a Bowie track would be a bit over the top though.

Thank you Ric the voice of reason. City should come out to Blue Moon end of. What is played before & at half time or after is up to the club but as they come out it should be Blue Moon.

Why the f*ck would we do this? What has an oddball singer whose just died got to do with City?

Just revisited heroes as not listened to it for a while, my god what a maudlin melancholy song it is, why on earth would anyone want to hear that as the boys come out of the tunnel, far too dour.

what if Chas or Dave curl their toes up before weekend.....can we organise it with the club that a round of 'Gertcha' gets played as the teams run out against Palace...or would that be just daft?
