Heroes - Bowie tribute @ Everton game

Could understand if he was a Mancunian or a City fan but there's absolutely no link to City whatsoever. I'm going to a football match tonight, not a Bowie tribute show. Bluemoon as usual.

Rick Wakemans first job was playing for Bowie, there you go a faint City link. Heroes has been played pre match before I am sure I have heard it in the list of songs played, and what harm does it do, it's a good song and fitting mini tribute to one of the nations best musicians, think we can go one game without coming out to blue moon and be fine.

Top Man Urban I like it.

You can drone on all you like but I have to correct you on that point. He was anti-establishment. Turned down the CBE in 2000 and the Knighthood in 2003.
Yes he was, and apart from his music that why I like him. The only question I would have asked given the chance; Why the fuck did you arrive at Victoria station giving a Nazi salute in 1976?
I was also making the point to those on here who are wittering on about not being a Manc. or having any connection to the club. Neither does the queen, but when she snuffs it, they will be recommending we eat corgi shit.

This is a different conversation. He was off his tits then, separated from his wife and child, depressed that his manager had screwed him and was off to Berlin to hang out with Iggy. Not sure how much more of a lefty he could have been but let's leave it there. Sorry for the use of the word 'drone'. You are entitled to your opinion, of course.
