Anybody else think this song would be the perfect one to sing just prior to ko ? get it played at full tilt (last night), then pause it in between so the fans do a solo chorus etc? (like they do at West Ham) - just a thought but it definitely puts you right in the mood to back the lads (Blue moon can sound a bit flat at times perhaps?) - Happy to be Blue :-)

Yup, definitely. There's a world of difference between the kind of piped "Tom Hark" style bollocks you get at small town johnny clubs when the home team scores a goal, and a bona fide fucking "hairs standing up on the back of your neck" anthem like Hey Jude. The greatest thing McCartney ever did and we should definitely adopt it as a club regular. Gets everyone going!

Showing a load of City victories on the big screens before kick off, heckling their players during pre-game shooting practice, keeping their fans inside whilst we went bonkers, Liam and Diego absolutely loving it, Wilmslow Wino cracking up, Trafford Rangers fans very quiet and our captain scoring the winner. If Stella, 5.2%, did evenings at the Etihad - that was it.

I've seen Paul McCartney in concert 16 times, and he always stops and gets the crowd to sing the na nas for hey jude, but joining in at his gigs was nothing compared to last night :) :) :) Last night we all could have made an album couldn't we! ;)
