If I got it out context then sorry. However, I'm trying to head off an inevitable pile in. My main point is I don't actually agree with the author and I'm not sure how accurate it is. So don't shoot the messenger.

It's a great topic this one. I believe at bottom it's the problem of moral relativism. We don't agree with what they see as OK. Unfortunately City are a proxy for both sides of a fruitless argument.

Correct, in fact oil countries usually have no need for taxation yet not paying tax in UK has become a moral duty as well as a legal one.

Many differences in culture as you say but the oil dollars our owner invested for start up phase prior to self sufficiency at City are as clean if not cleaner than the money the Glazíers borrowed from somewhere to buy United which had uncertain origin.

Had to laugh at the first comment after the Sun article. ..... on the bright side at least he lost some weight.
