Higuain to Arsenal?

Arsenal fans are in meltdown because Perez has said Arsenal haven't even made a bid for Higuain. He could be bluffing of course...

I believe him. If the dippers are correct and Arse have bid 30m for Suarez and Higuain then that just doesn't wash. Season ticket sales slow possibly. They do this every year. If they weren't such t**ts to their ex players i may feel a tad sorry for them.
 
So they could be linked to every A class player in the world but the proof of the pudding is in the signing and at this moment in time they have only signed Yaya Sanogo on a free. Also Chelsea have only signed Andre Schurrle, the Rags only Guillermo Varela and Spurs only Paulinho. IMO we have done better business than any of our rivals and believe we are stronger for it, all we are behind is in the links to players who fans think are better. Of course there is plenty of time for that to change but I like to keep an open mind on these things and see how the whole window develops not just the odd signing here and there, then by 1st September it may be time to make a proper judgement. Of course this is in relation only to the premier league in terms of CL that is a different kettle of fish.
 
It would be hilarious if we did buy Higuain.I think it might upset a lot of those smug Arsenal fans.Lets go for it and buy him.

Higuain had 44 apps while Benzema had 50, not much of a difference, can't find minutes stats for Higuain and Negredo.

Yes but ide wager most of his 44 apps were from the bench. Benzema is a better player so it was understandable that he got the lions share of playing time.

You'll have to do a fair bit of research, but under the 'players' section, minutes on pitch are shown. If you have the time, you can trace each player's scoring record against each opposing team in his league, something that might be more telling than mere end-of-season stats.
 
Please please please hijack this deal. Would be worth it just to see their faces. Aside from that, he's also a good player and a better option than the others we're linked with.
 
If cheeky is picking negredo over higuian he needs a digging!! We should go to Madrid and offer £48-50m for high aim and di Maria and be done with it! Aguero, higuain and edit as strikers and di Maria to add pace on both flanks with navas.

As plenty have posted previously, Higuain won't go anywhere as second/ third choice.

That's what he'd be with us........
