Higuain had 44 apps while Benzema had 50, not much of a difference, can't find minutes stats for Higuain and Negredo.

Yes but ide wager most of his 44 apps were from the bench. Benzema is a better player so it was understandable that he got the lions share of playing time.
 
If the latest rumours are true.....this long delay in Arsenal finalising their deal for Higuain is due to Madrid upping the price from 27 to 30 million.

I wonder if City are interested in this guy.

IMO it's because we are looking for someone to play back up / second fiddle to Kun. Higuain will want to be first choice, both in terms of pay and playing time, therefore he doesn't fit the bill
