Higuain to Arsenal?

Higuain scored 16 in the League last season, Negredo got 25

Negredo is a bit more of a target man and that's useful seeing as Aguero can't play that role

Absolutely baffled that we aren't in for him yet we appear to want negredo or osvaldo.
IMO it's because we are looking for someone to play back up / second fiddle to Kun. Higuain will want to be first choice, both in terms of pay and playing time, therefore he doesn't fit the bill

Yep. We need strikers to complement Kun, not as competition. He's our main man.

What happens if Aguero gets injured then? Negredo or dzeko leading the line?

What if RVP and or Rooney get injured, what if Messi gets injured. It's a risk we take.

But surely if Aguero gets injured, higuain or tevez would be prefect backup?

Agreed. Think back to Chelsea under Mourinho (part 1) or Wenger's great arsenal sides, too. They never had a like for like replacement for Drogba or Henry and it was always clear those guys were the main men up front.

Higuain isn't a backup striker. We can't have multiple world class strikers, someone would end up being pissed off.

Kun, Dzeko, Guidetti and another is enough.

With our new system that has quality support on the wings, Dzeko should be more than capable of leading our front line

I'm a fan of dzeko, think he's a good player, but the attitude he showed last season was disgusting, no matter how much he disliked Mancini, his attitude wasn't acceptable.

Can we risk relying on him?
