Got absolutely nothing good to say about us.. ever..!
Animated as fcuk when discussing any opposition we play though..
Keep saying what the majority of the red shirted armchair fans want to hear and collecting your money you knob..!
I was actually thinking that myself@andyhinch
Looks like you might have to change your username!
He was/is , seemed happy scoring in the 5-1 game thoI think he was before he signed for us and probably still is.He was from round the Brooklands area and a mate of mine knew his family who were reds too.
Ex public school boy. Ex red ,whilst at school, made iit with City, howard kendall didnt fancy him,not tough enough, not hard enough, not defensively disciplined enough.....he has now gone back to being a red,and is perfect for sky sports ....an ex City player who hates us.Patronising self righteous arsehole. Maybe ex City but he’s a full on Sky Four wanker.
I am!! I spoke to him at City away during the 80’s at Brighton I think. He was taking a corner and the game had stopped for an injury so I had a little chat with him and told him where to put the corner. He nearly obliged... bastard is dead to me now.Just hang your head in shame....

City started climbing the league when he left,Pointon was twice the full back he wasI remember his first game back against City, he was getting shit off city fans in the second half in front of the Kippax, but White got no change out of him, unlikely Brightwell on the overlap.
I don't think it was particularly fair giving him shit if Kendall wanted him out, but why expect any favours after a player who grew up with the club and lost his place to Pointon is then abused on his return? He would play for England in years to come while City sunk down down the league.
