I think he was before he signed for us and probably still is.He was from round the Brooklands area and a mate of mine knew his family who were reds too.

I was conflicted when I watch/listen to Hinchcliffe as he was one of my favourite players and I remember being gutted when we sold him. Back then he had a reputation within the squad of being a "clever" guy - always won quizzes on the coach etc.
Now I have accepted he is a bitter twat who will never have a good word to say about us. He adopted that attitude at the start of our rise - wonder if he ever regrets it now we feature so much on TV coverage? - he is stealing a living as Tyler's lapdog

I am!! I spoke to him at City away during the 80’s at Brighton I think. He was taking a corner and the game had stopped for an injury so I had a little chat with him and told him where to put the corner. He nearly obliged... bastard is dead to me now.

I remember his first game back against City, he was getting shit off city fans in the second half in front of the Kippax, but White got no change out of him, unlikely Brightwell on the overlap.
