Hoffenheim away travel

Is there an art gallery nearby.
I'm arriving there Monday morning.

What kind of Art?

Heidelberg is a university city - one of the main travelling points for Americans in Germany. Frankfurt and Stuttgart ain't far away either.

Look at the travel guide of the City of Heidelberg

Body Worlds (plastinated human bodies - a similar museum is in London and Berlin) https://bodyworlds.com/exhibition/heidelberg/
Kurpfälzisches Museum https://www.museum-heidelberg.de/pb/,Len/896835.html
There is a couple of exhibitions as part of the university, too.

Plenty of cultural activities in Heidelberg mate

That - and for the ones that arrive early and are more interested in some other kind of culture - the Cannstadter Wasen opens the weekend before in Stuttgart. It is the World's second biggest beer festival.

There is even more in the area - Speyer is just about 20 kilometres away from Sinsheim- there is a sea world.

I guess you can find something for everybody in that area - and you will find beer or wine places, too. Especially the wine as it is the time for the fresh wine of the year.

------------------

As said - the village where Sinsheim or next to it Hoffenheim - is, is small. Not the typical place for a football club. But the area around is pretty populated - there is some bigger Cities around and Stuttgart and Frankfurt aren't that far either. Hopp, the founder of SAP was born there and got his home club into the Bundesliga - what the football purists in Germany do not like. You will see that they do not attract masses of away fans. Hopp today is a philanthrophist who with his foundation invested money in all kind of activities in the area - social, medical, research, youth sports etc. There is not just the football club but a Handball and an Ice-Hockey-Club, too, in which he invested a lot of money.

Anyone who booked with Thomas Cook had their booking confirmed as opposed to pending?

That's how they always do it. City wait till it's sold out and then go to Thomas cook to tell them who has tickets, if you do your place on the trip then gets confirmed.
