Bit of rotation. Give an eager Foden a start and see what he can do. Get a win and improve confidence then move onto Everton.
Whether Silva is injured or not it would be a stupid risk to play him with a hamstring that's obviously in the red.Merlin probably injured. Foden has to start
If it is Northern Rail they have been on strike for about the last 10 Saturdays on the bounce. They have not been running any trains from Warrington for the last two Saturdays. I’m not sure if they do run that line
I can help you mate. Every Saturday Northern Rail is on stike. They run a reduced service. Some lines are entirely closed down. But so far the Buxton to Manchester Piccadilly line has been open. It is inconvenient but workable.
The problem is that last home game the last train back to Buxton was at 17.24. You have to leave on final whistle and go like the clappers to make it.
Trains to Piccadilly are about once an hour on strike day from Buxton. They used to run back to Buxton to about 6.30pm but last weekend that was reduced to 5.24pm. Worth keeping an eye on because there will be staff shortages around Christmas and likely to get worse.

12:30 k.oThanks for the comments will look at putting a plan B in place
Based on the fact we have never won it before nor come close to winning it. There are too many variables in a cup competition especially when the quality of opposition is as high as the CL. We are FAR more likely to win the PL than the CL that’s why we should take care of that first and foremost.Intrigued as to where those percentages arose
