To be honest, I don't think it could have been any more obvious than it was on Sunday. The whole of the TV audience saw it, meaning that VAR would definitely have seen it, and given that we are told the Video Referee is an integral part of the officiating team they just blatantly chose to ignore a CLEAR foul in the penalty area, which we are told is one of the primary they reasons they are allowed to get involved. And yes, there was still contact as the ball was in play.
I've tried engaging Keith Hackett on this very subject on social media, but he's refusing to bite.
