You'll be fine if you're in groups of 2 or 3. One tried mugging a mate of mine a few years ago, unfortunately he had the misfortune of targeting a properly hard little bastard and got his arse handed to him. Anyway,if you're feeling energetic walk towards Torremolinos, some great bars and restaurants along the front, and in Torremolinos itself.

Had one of my best holidays ever in Ireland, and at the time I had done a fair bit of long haul holidaying .i had 2 weeks travelling around Ireland with the mrs , staying in different farm B&B's every day . Met some great characters , it's a beautiful country ( great pubs too) .went back the following year for my stag doo in Dublin . The troubles was still on and a fair few of my mates had 2nd thoughts about going ... No need to worry it was brilliant , we end up going back every year for about 5 years.Apart from New York for a week and a week in Sweden later on in the year my holidays will be just sunny Ireland for 10 days in August. Cork, Bray and Kilkenny.

I was there a less than two weeks ago on a lads golf/piss up trip. Didn't feel any threat from mugging but had my pocket picked first night - wallet gone. But that you don't have to be in Benalmadena for that to happen.

Just in Cuba for 8 nights last week. I might rent a cottage on a lake somewhere in Ontario for a week this summer.
Possibly take two weeks and head out to the east coast to New Brunswick Nova Scotia, Cape Breton and P.E.I.

Evening all, reading this thread with interest & am looking for honest advice.
Am going on a boys piss up (6 of us in our 40s) to torremolinos in September. Flights booked & we're on verge of booking all inclusive at the hotel real puente http://www.puentereal.com/habitaciones.html
Anyone been there born know of it & can advise on its location in terms of how far it is in walking distance terms to decent bars, the main drag & benalmadena etc. Thanks in advance. K

Six and a half hours and our taxi will be picking us for a drop off at Manchester Airport and then a nice ten hour flight to Cuba.Just looking at the weather for the next 5 days and it touches 100 degrees on Saturday.Loverly jubberly.
