Holiday advice

I wonder how it will work with restrictions being lifted in different areas of a Country? Spain as a whole has obviously been hammered by this and yet I was reading that the Spanish Mediterranean islands seem to have avoided the worst (fewer than a hundred deaths across all the Balearic islands so far as well as minimal and decreasing new cases in the past couple of weeks).

as long as UK foreign office advise not travelling anywhere in the world (as they do now) you will not be insured if you travel even if countries let you in.

Apparently TUI now refusing to give cash refunds and offering voucher along with a 20% further discount.. Twats

Easyjet reportedly sitting on £1billion of customers money for future flights.

I was due to go on holiday with TUI in mid March and it was cancelled due to the holiday ban announced in parliament on the 17th. TUI called and tried to persuade me to accept credit against another holiday with an incentive of £50 off. I asked if they would honour the price I paid for an identical holiday in the same hotel later in the year and they said if the price had gone up I would have to pay the difference. I asked for a refund which they agreed to. Still waiting a month later and had an email last week saying I’d receive it within 28 days. They’re hanging on to my cash as long as they can it seems.
