Holiday advice

Well that's happy days, just had email off TUI and able to amend the booking to same gaff, roughly same time of year for 2021,so my £400 gamble paid off in the end,as it is knocked off next years holiday......…………………………..however I'm paying nothing more yet,for a long while to be honest.

EASA have issued their safety guidance for airports and operators. link

Social distancing and hygiene. Proper surgical masks not home made jobs from before entering the airport until leaving destination airport. Max 4 hours per mask so bring enough. reduced service onboard. distancing where possible (no airline will). Some crew stuff about air-conditioning systems operation. Warnings about increased unruly passengers. What to do with suspected covid cases on board. Special boarding, de-plaining to prevent the aisle being full.

Nothing special really. Just the specification of masks and time limit.

TUI have just emailed that if you want a cash refund you don't now need to ring them, they have (or will soon have) set up an online process. Just had a look myself but can't see anything yet, though haven't had my refund credit yet so that may be why.

Just had email off TUI saying I can amend booking. Was due to go to Sorrento in August. Going to rebook for next year. Are next year's prices same as this?

Where've you got this mate? My flight to France on May 31st is still going ahead AFAIK...Easyjet have yet to cancel.
We were due to go to Barcelona next Tuesday and I only got email saying flight was cancelled this week. So don't worry it won't be going. The return flight was with Vuelling who cancelled about 6 weeks ago.

Just had an email from EJ saying my flight to Nice is cancelled. Presume I will get another about the return flight, because at present, that one isn't cancelled!

So if they weren’t already... does the quarantine policy that’s due to be rolled out confirm that all summer holidays this year will be off?

Not necessarily.
A UK two week quarantine would have no effect on me and any other retirees.
