Holiday advice

The day you get notification contact them straight away as it's a fabulous incentive. Maybe start looking now for alternatives so you are ready to strike. Can be used toward any holiday up to the back end of October next year. Greece is still looking sweet for now.
Think if we get the offer we'll go the same time this year as I'd have to mess with the insurance & Car Parking as well, as who knows what state the world will be in next year.

just looked at my flight details for a proposed return and BA have cancelled my return flight from tenerife south but have booked me on a flight from sofia in bulgaria instead. weirdly enough i have asked for an e-voucher instead.

Still lots of TUI hotel only bargains kicking about, particularly for Greece but also Turkey.
You'd hope Greece will remain ok for the last 5/6 weeks of the season but nothing is certain at the moment.
At these prices though it's all good.
(I'm staying at this one below the last weekend in September, cost us £34pp for 3 nights all inclusive so we've been ripped off)

That's insane prices! Looking at booking Crete too for last week in September. Have you booked hotel and flights separate? Will you get a refund for both should Greece become on the quarantined list? I'm unsure whether to book now or wait until the last moment.

Yeah myself and a friend are just doing a long weekend Friday-Monday (it's replacing a cheap Gran Canaria trip posted further back). I don't think you can book these bargain hotels as part of any packages, so it looks to be a flight + hotel separate booking if you were to go for it.

It goes without saying that it's a risk at the moment when it's not ATOL (package) protected.
If Greece goes onto the quarantine list, then I'd hope TUI would refund the hotel.
Our flights are with Jet2, and they are cancelling flights to countries whereby there are restrictions in place, so again I'd hope the flights would be refunded without too much hassle.

Ultimately for 3 nights all inclusive with perfect weekend flight times, it's only costing us £140pp, so worst case scenario is we would lose that which is a relatively small gamble financially.

If you're looking to go for longer, and ultimately have a larger financial gamble, then I'd say book your flights with Jet2 where possible (as Ryanair/Easyjet/Wizz are all still flying to countries against FCO advice so you'd be on the hook for the flights), avoid mixing airlines (out Jet2, back Ryanair for example) and pay by credit card for the hotel and flights for that extra protection, but obviously be prepared for things to fall apart at any moment!

FWIW I think/hope Greece will be ok now. Their cases are dropping and less people are travelling now it's coming out of peak season. Please don't quote me on that though ;)

Unbelievable deal. So good we've booked a week ourselves, £185 each all inclusive with flights 23-30/9.

Cheers for the advice. I'm likely to book with Jet2 based on the dates so that should make it easier should Greece go back to quarantine restrictions.

Think I'll just book the flights for now on credit card and book the hotel last minute. Worst case it's £80 tied up with Jet2 should things change over the next couple of weeks.

We cancelled our hotel with Travel Republic at the end of July and we were due to go this coming Tuesday. We booked our flights direct with Ryanair but they changed the flight times to 3 hours plus so, thankfully, they can't argue we are entitled to a refund and have had an email saying will be refunded the flight costs soon.
Was less optimistic re Travel Republic. Not a package holiday etc but, to be fair, they haven't argued once and they have confirmed a full refund, albeit up to 7 weeks. Can live with that, all things considered.

Was going tenerife for 2 weeks in late October/ November but have now reduced it to a week. Stops the fear of situation changing rapidly hopefully, gives me week in sun at least and 14 days quarantine on return if needed. If not then I can just stay put another week and fly back later. Only problem i can see on horizon is countries refusing to let us in.

Also booked onto this the other day for middle of this month; big thanks to @feedthegoat27 for sharing. There's some cracking hotel only deals on there working out about £10 per night, get yourself on it for a late break away blues.
