Holiday advice

but it’s about crossing a border. If you are holding a british passport they’ll not let you in without good reason at the moment

I could hop from UK to Germany/Spain to Croatia, if direct gets cancelled, but they’ll reject me as soon as they see my passport. A good page To check is https://www.total-croatia-news.com/ provides travel updates and info in the country. I think it’s run by ex-pats.

Yes I am currently working on the assumption that come August September things are a little better and borders are open. It may of course not be. I dont blame anyone who does give it a miss this year as I think travelling this year will not be for the faint hearted.

I have to go back to work on the 29th although I’ll be working from home. I was planning a very late break to help get over the six months from hell but if it’s too much trouble then I won’t bother.

Can get to Menorca and back for £100 in August. Unheard of normally.

I’m still thinking of Wednesday to Sunday in Malaga. How strict is the quarantine enforced? I’m working from home as of a week today but I’ll still want to go the supermarket etc.

Flights are available so can I literally book for Wednesday / Thursday this week and not expect a problem?

is it irresponsible to go to Spain for a hols in August or September?

Why would it be?

Much also would depend on your circumstances anyway.

I personally would be wary of doing anything long haul this year. As for Europe its a case of keeping an eye on how things are progressing. As it stands I personally will be happy to give it a go and see how a trip works out, I am probably going to try a couple of days early July just to see what kind of ball ache the airports are before possibly heading off in August or September with the good lady.
