Kefalonia tomorrow morning for us
Veto bar in Skala for the match Saturday night followed by Northern Soul night in Bar Loco
Get in !!!!
I hope the Northern Soul night is better than the one I was at last week in Spain.
It doesn’t quite work when nobody is allowed to get up and dance! Haha!

We had friends with us who usually stay in Ketelios
Prob a bit too quiet for me there

End of season wind down as well but I have found enough nice bars and Tavernas and while Hotel room I am staying has a dated feel I can’t fault the staff who are really good.

all said and done as long as they don’t pull the rug on Thursday it will have been a very chilled week.

Just waiting for the Gov announcement around 17.00 today before we start packing for Rhodes on Saturday.

To be honest, I'm not too happy flying at the moment but quarantine wouldn't be an issue, I just hope if we get there there's no emergency pullout and we get our full week by the sea.

I might do a Germany and Poland double header once some personal business is sorted. It's all about the travel though.

Good luck. Was in Lindos/Pefkos last month. Beautiful place.

Love it on Rhodes usually go at least once a year, we have both English & Greek friends over there.

The hotel we always stay at in Kremasti has closed early this year so we're off to Koskinou with a nice TUI bonus, gone from a top (to us anyway) 3* S/C hotel to a 5* All-Inc for the same price.

Update....No change to Rhodes so packing can start.

Just received a mailshot from Jet2holidays thanking us both for our continued loyalty. As a thank you they have enclosed vouchers for £125 per person off for summer 2021. All good so far keeping the oil flowing through the Jet2 mainframe until clearer skies become evident next year. The vouchers have to be spent by the 18th October so we had a quick browse to see if they could entice. Picked a price-wise month when it's good to travel with the kids still being in school and a resort thats not overtly expensive, coupled with an hotel that most people tend to know. So they want £1970 per couple all inclusive at the Solana for a week on the 5th June, less their thank you for being loyal - equating to £1720. Now call me a cynic but someone somewhere must have been tickling the auntie in an effort to offset, but even after the tickling I cannot see how you could reel anyone into a keepnet for £1720 for a week in the Dorm. We like Jet2, really we do and the reason they have grown so fast is by offering good quality family holidays at the right price with all the extra trimmings. Nice airline with an excellent baggage allowance, take your luggage of your hands at the end of the holiday and a host of other things sets them apart from the masses and so truly we wish them well in these difficult times but not at those prices. If anyone wishes to use the codes then feel free to pm.

Get yourself & lady over to Greece, unless in Mykonos you tend to get both better value & a better class of tourist.

Just hiding from Mrs Moon at the moment, finishing touches of packing for our flight to Rhodos this afternoon & I know from experience to keep away from the final checks as it's always my fault if something is forgotten. :)

Have a brilliant holiday mate and after clearing customs stay away from big Dextor the medic chap, easily spotted in his soiled apron and matching wellies.

Very disappointed at Rhodes airport....big push to complete these forms with a QR code on so travellers can be tested according to what's on the QR and everyone on our flight from Manchester were just waved through, nobody's scanned at all.
Did they look at it at all?

The first number of the qr code is the key one, there isn't a need to scan it - from memory if it's odd you get tested even you are waved through. Both of my trips have started with a 4 so waved straight through.

Yes that was the same for us in Rhodes a month or so ago... but as you probably know you have to fill a form out for your U.K. arrival that is a requirement from the U.K. government. That was exactly the same, very little checking upon arrival in M’cr

It's crazy shit, Rhodes is relatively untouched by CV & obviously they want our money but, madness that they let a full dreamliner of passengers from Covid central Manchester just wander in.

Just goes to show it's not just our Government who are ticking boxes.
