Probably Morocco as I enjoyed the food more but Tunisia was also an enjoyable holiday. It's a shame that the terrorist Port El Kantaoui beach shootings in 2015 put a lot of holidaymakers off going and the Tunisians I met were generally friendly and I felt safe there.

Off to agadir in 3 weeks for my first time, really looking forward to some tagines and mint teas.

Might try and get a week away in kids Oct half term. They break up the week after most of the country so in theory the prices will be lower.

Canaries and Turkey are the obvious ones. Anywhere else to consider Oct/Nov? Cyprus?

Lovely day in Menton yesterday. Walk round old town, afternoon on beach, dinner then walk along sea front stopping for drinks. Got train to Ventimilgia today and didn't think much of it. Head back to Nice tomorrow for last few days before home

Obviously depends on budget but a week there in hotel with TUI is about 1k per person.
