Holidays

After some advice. Never done it before but my wife has always wanted to go on a skiing holiday. Thinking a few days just the two of us as we’re finally at the age we can go on holiday without three kids in tow!

Any recommendations of where to look at and what type of accommodation? Thinking only a few days and don’t want to break the bank in case we both hate it!
Fly to Innsbruck pal .
Off the “ski holiday “ trail so cheapish flights .
It’s not a ski resort as such but it’s in a valley with a huge snow covered mountain behind it . You can pretty much hire gear , take lessons on the mountain and you can catch a bus or monorail to the slopes so no need for ski passes .
If skiing isn’t your bag, you’ve then got quite a big city to lose yourself in .
Great people and loads to do .

Sounds ideal. Thanks mate, will look into it :)

Went there a couple of years ago. Beautiful place. The weather was great which helped.

Beer was awful though.
I love a booze but itll be just a coupe whilst on the move

Last time i was in belgium we drank lokeren dry and then a brussels night club was closed down as all the staly blues set the water sprinklers off

Have a look at Bulgaria or Andorra as these used to be relatively cheap I’ve not been boarding since 2010, if you are just staring you won’t be going up top anyway so don’t waste cash on a top resort. Enjoy the apres ski. Don’t go full board as you will be out most of the day, look for a decent breakfast and nick some bread and make sandwiches for dinner on the mountain.

Thanks mate. Second mention for Bulgaria!
